Teachers are the backbone of a progressing nation and students are the tomorrows blood line who will run in various parts of the nation in various fields. What is more important for the healthy body than a gushing oxygenated blood and skillful youths for the nation and the world?
What makes skillful community? Pause and Think!
Thanks for thinking! You might have number of things. But, I will put skillful Teachers in the number 1 spot for a birth of generation of skillful of youths who will grow up to make a community of good. When Adam was created by God, and was challenged by Angels & Iblis as inferior creation, the God took the role of a teacher. The god taught Adam various names of objects of Universe and then challenged Angels to match the knowledge. To attain knowledge and then to teach to fellow humans is first-most skill Human have learned. Even if you are only a believer in Theory of evolution as well, the cave men would have taught others how to create fire, how to communicate and how to hunt to his offsprings. Throughout the evolution, the DNA became repository of these knowledge passed on generation after generation. Therefore, to teach is noble and to learn is the duty. This is the secret of survival and to survive with a progress to betterment of life.
Coming to the present world, humanity has progressed and is in Zenith in technology but have become more and more selfish. No one can deny that this intelligent species is competing among themselves and killing each other for land, money, faith and other resources. These selfish humans spread the bad teachings of superiority and killings to other upcoming generation. They have done it so and so instead of being one single happy human community we started differenciating and killing each other in wars. Why did the world war happen and what benefit it brought except destruction. Therefore, it is even more important to teach good and learn good.
For a community to be great and good they must also be strong. You might ask What do you mean be Strong?
Strong means strong physically, strong emotionally, be financially strong, be strategic of you life and surroungs and be strong politically. This set of strength has to be developed at individual level. When several strong individual will come together they will make a strong community.
Prophet Muhammad pbuh was not poor, he was the successful commander and winner of Mecca and Medina and therefore he had access to all the wealth. But he kept giving up all the wealth to needy and poor making the community strong financially. He had many rich companions like Abu Bakr Siddique and they were also known for their generosity. So being financially skillfull is an important part of a skillfull community.
Who get oppressed?
Those who are weak are oppressed. Those who are not skillful becone poor. Thats why it is better to be strong.
