My Journey To Charminar With Rs. 5

I am being a new habitat of Cyberabad, luckily got a relaxing weekend this time. I thought to explore the city of Hyderabad. Well, I would like to make the readers aware that I am unaddicted to Uber and Ola and do not have the App in my phone.  Yes weirdly I still use the mass transportation to explore any new city.  So, I decided to begin my journey through the veins of the Nawabi city. Yeah! MMTS are the electric trains which connects the dots to almost all the important places in Hyderabad. I felt it was very pleasant to see electric trains after Chennai and Mumbai.

I took a ticket of Rs. 5 to the last station and went to the platform. As I entered the platform and took my Samsung Galaxy to click some pics I noticed a dog resting the afternoon in tired state. Of-course, it is the month of Ramadan and fasting throughout the day for the whole month makes you tired. Even the dogs deserve a nap sortie. As the train arrived I just had to push myself a little and was inside the train. Crowded with different people from different region I found the essence which make the Hyderabad metropolitan here. On the way you can find treat to your eyes as the giant electric vehicle takes you through the banks of the Hussain Sagar lake and Sanjeevaiah park. The scenic Indian flag standing his chest open in the lake and flying with the breeze generates the patriotism in you. The sailers with their wind boats competing each other was worth watching. As my destination arrived I got down and took a bus for my final destination.
As I reached Afzal Ganjh and started walking through the busy market saw the real Nawabi people in the nawabi city. The echoing market with merchants selling their products tells your heart you have to come one more time with some more money in your pocket. I enquired the way to Charminar and the boy told me “Yahase siddeich jana”. Alas! I noticed the gate to Charminar. On the way I could not resist myself seeing the Nehru coat and paijama Kurta of kids in such a cheaper take away rate and I bought one for my Cousin sister’s son. Hey I got couple of gowns for my angel daughter at a cheap rate too. Happily I moved on but heard the Azan sound. It was Asar time of prayer. I decided to brake and offer Namaz. I saw never before place which has a mosque almost every street. The street had Eid ki Sevaiyan in different varities. For the first time I saw a mall of just dates and nuts. Neverthless the charminar market was full of showrooms and malls of cloths. The famous Burkha galli and Lal bazaar I explored all. I purchased 3 bottles of ithar with almost half the price I get in Bangalore and then moved on. Soon, I found the Four Minars standing in front of me with pride of being there for centuries, a historic monument, a jewel of Indian history, present and future. Huge and magnificient I described it. The clock in the forehead of Charminar as if had stories of Nawabs and Kings swallowed in it with time ticking.
It was almost little time left for the Iftaar and so I decided to go to Charminar mosque and break my fast in the name of almighty. Again I was surprised by hugeness and tomb of this mosque. The ceiling was so high that almost as if touching the sky. With the invitation of other locals I joined them for Iftaar and offered prayers. All the women and men praying in the mosque together and asking dua was a lifetime experience.
