A Day Dream

It was early in the morning,
I felt someone is awakening me.
When I opened my eyes surprisingly I found
My wife by my side
with a TANTILISING smile in her face
and a hot cup of coffee in her hand.
Greeting me good morning unusually.

I exchanged kisses with my lips 
and tips of the cup enjoying the taste
of the coffee and its fragrance. 
A hot genuine madras coffee 
for the first time in my married life.
It was unusual day today!

The coffee went in refreshed me,
I got up, went near the window,
Peeped into the garden to find a 
Beautiful big rose blossomed just then
Twinkling smile of the flower, 
all around green and beautiful. 
It was unusual day today!

I was struck with the calling bell
I oped the door to find the
mild maid greeting me Good Morning 
It was unusually water free milk today!
The paper boy instead of 
throwing the paper on my face from roadside,
very politely wished me Good-day
And kept the paper in my hand.
It was unusual day today!

I sat in the balcony with the soothing breeze,
Opened the newspaper for cursory glance
read sensible politics and amazing editorial.
No bomb blast, murder and rape,
No shameless politics and stupid editorial.
It was unusual day today!

Wanting to bath I went ahead,
to find a drum of luke warm water
kept ready unusually for my convenience
I Enjoyed the warmness and had a
deep breath first time after a long gap
which brought me life in me 
putting some more new energy

Even the nature blessed me today
and it was unusual to have
very pleasant instead of a hot
weary sweating weather.
I started to office and shocked to
find the bus-stop where people
were in a very systematic beeline.
Calmly boarded the bus charted
for my office rather crowded
enraged scene I was used to.
I was offered a seat besides a gentleman,
We had a chat on the politics of the government
and from house-hold to economy of the country.
It was unusual day today!

I entered the office, and all my colleagues too
To find in a unusual attitude with greetings
instead with a vulgar "sala aa gaya"
They wished me for a good day.
My boss was very polite with me
throughout the day and even
appreciated my work and my drafts.
It was unusual day today!

I was happy throughout the day
and in the evening I left from office
straight away to home with heart full zeal
Greeted by family I sat with a cup of tea
It was all going very pleasant but suddenly
I felt a tremor beneath my seat
With a loud noise of cracking building,
barking mad dogs and all went topsy turvy
I relieved me from all this shock
to find my wife standing before me
holding the BELAN in her hand
and greeting me with the usual morning wishes
"Saab ka abhi neendh nai Khulla"
I had a thunder on my mind for a second
and recovered to find the usual day today
But had a very pleasant dream in the morning
My unusual day-dream today!
